What number do I call to access the voicemail system?

From your campus phone, call your local voicemail access number:

  • 860-947-1191 = Hartford, West Hartford and Vernon
  • 860-887-9246 = Avery Point, Groton and Norwich
  • 203-754-2026 = Waterbury
  • 203-846-2598 = Stamford
  • 203-498-0553 = North Haven and Hamden

How do I reset my new voicemail password/PIN?

Call your local voicemail access number or the toll-free number, 1-844-994-4993

  • Enter the temporary PIN (password)
  • Follow the prompts to change your PIN and record your personalized greeting (Your PIN must be a six- to 13-digit number)

Note: Six incorrect PIN entries will disable your mailbox, which will require us to reset your voicemail password, call 860-486-4357 or submit a password reset request

 

How do I know when I receive messages?

Through your telephone, you will hear a stutter dial tone (short, quick tones) and/or your message-waiting indicator light on your phone will be on (if your telephone has the message-waiting light function for this method of notification to work.

 

How many messages can I save in my mailbox?

The total capacity of your mailbox is 200 minutes. The number of messages will vary with the length of the messages.

 

How will I know if my mailbox is almost full?

You will hear a warning threshold that your mailbox is getting full. Remember, you can always delete messages that you have heard.

 

What if I forget my voicemail password?
